Dr. John B. Alexander

Dr. John B. Alexander, is a retired senior Army officer who has explored various phenomena on all seven continents. He also retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory, served with the Army Science Board, on National Research Council studies, and was a senior fellow at a Defense University. He has written books and articles on many topics including UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities.

More Complex Than Imagined

UFOs are real. The evidence supporting that fact is overwhelming. So, why are these phenomena that are as complex as cancer, generally ignored? What are the government’s responsibilities in addressing this issue? Maybe not what you think. How does one get reliable information about UFOs in an age in which the Internet offers conflicting data with no monitoring of input? Sorting fact from fiction when conspiracy theories and hoaxes abound is a mindboggling task, especially when there is not even a coherent definition about what constitutes a UFO. And then there are abductions and contacts.

Dr. Alexander. I’m am still undecided about Corso. Why would an 80 year old man fabricate the story and then dedicate it to his most-admired General Trudeau. Makes little sense. Also his idea that the government tried to reverse engineer the Roswell foil, suddenly became really interested in Titanium in 1948, a year later, started the Office of Foreign Intelligence. There is a lot of corroboration with that, especially Batelle’s work in Ohio on Nitinol. Are you sure you can just sweep the whole story away? There really was an Office of Foreign Intelligence. I researched about 34 people who said they handled the foil (I might have been one). Jerry Kroth, Ph.D.
