Katie Howland

Katie Howland, MPH is a UAP transparency advocate and nationally-recognized humanitarian leader managing programs related to genocide response, childhood literacy, and global health across the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa. Katie has advised Congressional and Presidential campaigns on forced migration and MENA issues and lobbied for increased global health spending on behalf of the United Nations Foundation. She was recognized as a 2020 Aerie Changemaker for her work with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Nadia Murad’s NGO to rehabilitate a classroom destroyed by ISIS and turn it into the region’s first school library. Subsequently, Katie was recognized as one of the country’s top 20 LGBTQ leaders in foreign affairs in 2021 by New America and Out in National Security. Currently, she co-hosts the Disclosure Team podcast, where she specializes in the national security implications of unidentified anomalous phenomena.

Katie has a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and a BA in International Security and Conflict Resolution (ISCOR) from San Diego State University. Her work has been profiled by Forbes, MSNBC, The Hill, and Inkstick, among others.
